As a fan of your writing, I was THRILLED to read this (and see the nicest shout out from you). I constantly feel like once I just acquire *insert thing here* then I will finally arrive into my personal style, so glad to read I’m not alone. I felt like your advice RE accessories is so valuable because accessories elevate outfits! I was just talking with friends about how accessories are also the most helpful thing to invest in when you are having kids because your body changes so much but a great bracelet always fits.

Loved reading this! After I did a no buy January I noticed that I’m lacking in accessories - and I started to feel it when I got dressed - wishing for just a little something to make my uniforms feel fresh. Wearing the things I love and feel great in on repeat works, but it’s really nice to ave little ways to change things up and feel creative! Also - I read a great substack awhile back from Liza Belmonte where she talks about thinking about improving your wardrobe by 10% (or any percent) every season. You can’t buy everything all at once, you add things piece by piece and it gets an incrementally better and better over time!! I loved that, it’s really stuck with me! Xx
