Elle always makes me buy good stuff. After this honest review I got rid of my now shapeless uniqlo tanks and got 1 LeSet and 2 Flore Flore.

Moment of truth: I’m still loving my Mossimo tanks that I got for $10 a pop at Target 4 years ago… I can’t find a better fit

I actually loved seeing them all unstyled, so helpful!

The Hillie looks great!! I personally just got the Everlane Supima and it’s perfectly thin and soft :)

love the recommendations but also love the spiral staircase in the back of the photos… so so cute

Ahh thank you! I love it too, no matter how impractical it feels somedays (like when we were moving in), I will never change it.

I agree with your top choice - Hillie all the way. It’s tough to find a white cotton tank thats tuck-in-able without being either A) bulky when tucked or B) so skin tight it looks like compression wear. Thanks for going into the trenches for us 🫡

Continually on the hunt for a non-see through white tank with a work appropriate yet flattering neckline than DOES NOT SHOW MY BRA. Constantly let down 🫠 will def be looking into these though I am loathe to spend $ on something I will 100% stain immediately 🤦‍♀️🍅

Tanks and bras are like oil and water! I completely hear you on the investing in something that will probably get damaged, truthfully I go back and forth on this a lot.

The best and most perfect tank is the Cos scoop neck rib tank (not the regular rib tank, has to be the scoop neck) - super flattering, heavy ish opaque fabric. The best.

I'm going to be near a Cos store next week and you bet I will be stopping in to try this on!

I have also been on a tank hunt! I wanted a more cutaway racer back style, so an absolute GAMECHANGER are those that have a built in bra.

You're doing such good work!! I have been on the hunt for the perfect white tee and found one with great reviews at old Navy and was like yeah maybe this will do for now until I find a really good one. Got in the mail and it was one step above a white tee you'd find in a fruit of the loom pack. The reviews really did me dirty on this one!

Darn!!! That tends to be my experience with reccs like that too, but people hype them up so much online??

Ooh, this is my personal Everest....finding ther perfect white tank. I am a magnet for tomato sauce stains! Any temptation to try asymmetric tanks or racerback tanks this summer?

You and me both!!! Honestly I haven't been tempted yet, just because of the bra struggle that comes with racerback tanks, but show me the right pinterest image and I'm sure I'll waver lol.

Totally agree. It took me 20 years to realize that it was worth it to get a good white tank – I chose AMO – rather than buying and tossing all of those target and Old Navy ones that I would get.

For those on a budget - Easy Standard tanks were a good buy for me. Also you Hillie tank looks and cuts just like this from Target- https://www.target.com/p/women--39-s-slim-fit-ribbed-shrunken-tank---universal-thread--8482--white-l/-/A-87418295
