I also HIGHLY recommend Oiselle for running gear! A smaller, women-owned brand. I love their pocket joggers and roga tool belt shorts, especially for longer runs!

I love this post! Came here to express my loyalty to Old Navy activewear. Bury me in the powersoft pocket leggings please. I've worn them for athletic and leisure purposes and they hold up in all situations and after many washes.

I have never tried their leggings, but I love some of the sports bras I have purchased at Old Navy!

We love everything brutally honest Elle so thank you so much for this!

And by the way I agree with everything you said, especially Alo Yoga and Gym Shark - absolutely not worth it. I would suggest a brand called girlfriend collective. They have the best colour combos, amazing support and the best leggings I've ever had. To not be forgotten, Stella McCartney x Adidas, the jackets are just so flattering and breathable.

I'd seen GC at Nordstrom over the past few years but never tried them on! Might have to take a trip to see them. Supportive leggings > butter soft leggings IMO. Thank you so much for reading Giulia <3

Ahh I want to love GC leggings so much, but I find them so stiff and uncomfortable? Last time I tried them was 2019 though so maybe they’ve changed?

I got mine last year from Net-a-porter! I’d suggest trying again, but of course is super personal ☺️

This came at the perfect time! I have been running recently, and my two lulu lemon leggings I have to constantly pull up and it is so annoying. I have been looking for new stuff! I also have a set from set active that iI really enjoy!

Lululemon Energy and Swiftly top are personal favorites too! Have you tried Varley leggings? I love some of their day to day pieces (Doublesoft is so cozy!) but haven’t tried any of the actual activewear

I think I have tried Varley on at Anthropologie but I can't remember them well! I can get behind a soft, cozy pair of leggings only when I promise myself I'll never try to wear them to the gym or for a workout. Haha! Thank you so much for reading Teresa <3

Love your takes - I agree about Lululemon leggings; the exception is the "Power Thru" leggings - those work really well for me, but unfortunately they've discontinued them recently.

Love the Lulu swiftly tech line and the Nike and Lulu energy bras. I also like the Lulu Align "longline" bras - I have a pretty small chest so everything feels pretty secure, although others with larger chests may not feel this way. I wish Lulu would come out with more colors in the swiftly tech line!

All the items you mentioned you wouldn’t buy, I have never tried, but have never had any interest to try. But I do love 2 styles of sports bras I’ve gotten off Amazon as well as a pair of running shorts! For leggings my go to is Fabletics, but only the Powerhold leggings because I love that they stay in place when I am working out

I feel this so deeply, especially the Alo comments. They don't stay up AT ALL. I've found myself really loving Artizia's butter collection (bras are not for running or HIIT but good for pilates, walking, some strength, etc) and it's so soft, doesn't pill and stays up! I also like some Set Active.

Thank you sooo much for reading Megan!! It's intriguing hearing people like Set Active! I've been so close to ordering from them several times. I'm mostly fascinated with them because of their TikTok strategy, haha!

As a fellow Crossfitter, I could not agree more — nothing from Amazon ever and no chance to leggings (even on rope climbs; that's what fun knee high socks are for!) Post wod sport bras are tricky no matter what and I am absolutely aligned with your selects as they are my own.

I'll tell you I have some gnarly scars on my shins from rope climbing in shorts, before I learned to always keep the knee high socks in my bag! Your agreement means a lot to me as I know us CrossFit girls push ourselves ~and our clothing~ to the limits!
