Recently thrown 'fits
a chill-but-considered look book
I love outfit theory: figuring out what makes someone’s style specifically so cool (hi Miley). Finding the through-lines in my Pinterest boards (still into boyish + glam btw). Discovering the formula for a foolproof look (see: summer lounge outfits).
But sometimes I just need to put the clothes on. The outfit collage looks great on paper, how does it translate to my everyday? The pieces look amazing on the model, how do they look on me?
These are some recent ‘fits that went from the mood board to real life. They all fall into the chill-but-considered category, which tends to be my vibe. I like to keep things simple, but with at least one element that feels special.
I wanted this cardigan ever since seeing Gabriella Gofis style it on her honeymoon in Italy. It’s perfect as a year-round layer, and the mother-of-pearl buttons give it that extra something. They occasionally pop up on The RealReal, which is where I got mine! I have it paired with my Buck Mason sweatshorts, which they now make an updated version of.
If there’s a category I feel like I’ve perfected in my wardrobe, it’s my house clothes. These Tibi Winslow pants have the best shape. I recently picked up my favorite white tee in grey, and I’m not sure how I was living without it all this time??
Here she is again with an old pair of Veronica Beard shorts I got a few summers ago from The RealReal. These look like a newer version from VB, or this pair from Anthro looks similar at a better price. You’ll also see I wear flip flops 90% of the time. I wish I switched it up more, especially considering how much I LOVE SHOES… but they are just so easy and always hit.
I found another pair of Indras on sale and couldn’t help myself, they are so good! I’m wearing a 27 which is my normal size. A lot of reviews recommend sizing down but I disagree, you lose the chill + laid back effect! I was extra trendy here in a halter tank, this one is pretty compressive so it’s doable to skip a bra or just add some sticky covers. Finally, I love adding a silver cuff to zhuzh up an outfit like this.
This is like my fourth post talking about this shirt, it looks sold out but I keep getting restock emails! Worn here with these navy bermuda shorts* Athleta kindly let me pick out, flips of course, and secondhand Celine sunnies. I always have 1-3 anklets on in the summer too, it’s a must!
This is what I wore to take my toddler down the slide 1,500 times. My comfort items of clothing are a grey sweatshirt and sneakers, so I’ll take any sub 80 degree day as an opportunity to wear them. My shorts are now sold out but I keep seeing these come in and out of stock, BM makes some of my favorite denim.
Sometimes you just can’t beat a blue button up and denim. Are you surprised I’m not wearing flip flops?? These ballet flats* are incredibly comfortable.
What have you been reaching for the most this June? Apparently I can’t get enough of bermudas, flip flops, or anklets. See you in the comments, or next Wednesday😘
Anything marked with an asterisk was gifted to me by the brand. My promise to you is I will NEVER share anything I don’t truly love and think you will too. Thank you for supporting this newsletter, it means so much.

I'm starting to wear more bermuda shorts and love that look so much. So this was great, and I took notes. Cutie baby
A bermuda, flip flop, and anklet combo is unmatched. In fact, I’m wearing it at work as we speak
