Fashion trends that aren't it IMO
Exercising my God-given right to be a hater. And no, I'm not fun at parties.
I woke up today with an itch to share my controversial opinions on the internet. I hope you enjoy and keep doing you :).
Anything from Van Cleef. If I see someone wearing this jewelry I assume it is Kendra Scott. I don’t see anything special or original about it.
Goyard. Dropping 2k for a bag made out of plastic is not chic.
Mesh ballet flats. These don’t make sense to me, but if I see you wearing them I will applaud your effort.
Denim maxi skirts. It’s giving religious cult.
Ballet-core. Aesthetics like this have been overdone in general, but specifically grown women dressing as little girls are not cute to me.
Sheer dresses, exposed undergarments, and corset tops. This look could be done tastefully but 99% of the time it isn’t (Emily is the 1%, yes.)
Quiet luxury. This trend has become so warped it now looks cheap. Zara and H&M can’t pretend to be luxury.
Matching sets. In general, they give ‘amazon’. The exception to this is pajamas.
I’ll step off of my soapbox here.
Stay tuned for next time xoxo.
HA! This made me laugh. I do like some of these things (my Goyard!) but you def have a point! 😂
+1 to mesh ballet flats...they just aren't it 😂
